Frequently Asked Questions
- I want MatchMatix. Where can I get it from?
MatchMatix is so cutting edge, you'll need plasters. To make sure you don't get hurt,
MatchMatix is currently on trial at Manchester United and
a Championship football club, and we're in discussions with some sports associations. If
you'd like to see MatchMatix in action, get in touch,
and we'll show it to you.
Once we have some feedback from the trials, we'll make some improvements and release MatchMatix into the wild.
- What do I need to run MatchMatix?
You'll need a video analysis package to collect data, either SportsCode or
Focus X2 and the latest .NET Framework (free) for Windows XP or Vista.
- Great name - where did it come from?
Well, after an hour or two of writing
down words related to sports analysis (game, player, numbers, score...) I noticed that match and
mathematics started with the same letters. It was a quick step to combine the two words. The 'x'
at the end was needed as matchmatics.com had been registered by someone else.
- Why are my chart columns white? I set the colours...
There is an option in Internet Explorer that needs checking. Go to the Tools
menu and select Internet Options. Click on the Advanced tab.
Scroll down the list until you find the Printing section, and check the box for
Print background colors and images.
